Counseling for Anxiety

Can you relate to these thoughts?

  • Why didn’t they answer me back?  Are they mad at me? Did I do something wrong? I shouldn’t have said that.
  • What will they think of me? They’ll probably think I’m weird. I probably shouldn’t go. I need to get things done around the house, anyway.
  • The thoughts won’t stop. It’s one thought after another. They are difficult to control and therefore really impacting my day. It’s hard to concentrate on even routine tasks because I’m so preoccupied. I then get frustrated at myself for being like this. Other people aren’t like this, right?

If so, you could benefit from anxiety treatment to treat common anxiety disorders, such as

  • Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder

How does anxiety treatment work?

Wone Counseling Services, PLLC provides evidence-based treatment approaches such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to explore the relationship among our thoughts, emotions and behaviors (what we think and do affects how we feel). Cognitive distortions, that are not based in reality, will be challenged. Is there actual evidence for my thoughts? Are the thoughts based on primarily feelings? Reframing automatic thoughts helps relieve anxiety symptoms in order to live a more manageable life.
